Muslims a protected class?

11 Jan. 2011 (ACNS) - A recent article detailed that the media, institutions, and perhaps also the government in the United States treats Muslims as a protected class. That Muslims are receiving more and more special treatment and perhaps even being allowed to violated the law in the name of their false religion is particularly shocking. It is even more shocking that it is happening in the Land of the Free.

The United States was founded upon the principles of religious freedom, despite being founded on Christian ethics. Muslims today are granted the same rights as other religions, but they should not be granted more. While Christianity is fundamentally a religion of love and tolerance, Islam is a religion of great intolerance towards others. Muslims should not be allowed to supplant Christianity in America. Muslims should not be allowed to suppress Christianity by claiming that the expression of the Christian Faith by Christians somehow violates the rights of Muslims.

"An Anglo Catholic Sunday" Series Launched

10 Jan. 2010 (ACNS) - The Traditional Old Anglo-Catholic Church launched a new video series on Sunday called "An Anglo-Catholic Sunday." The series features weekly Sunday discussions with Archbishop Johnson. The discussions feature the readings for the day from the Holy Mass and/or the Daily Offices and how they relate to what it means to be an Anglo-Catholic.

In the first episode, released yesterday, the Archbishop discussed the Gospel from the mass for the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. The discussion continued with some thoughts and history on the Anglican Rite and its Catholic nature.
